Greenhouse Cover Films
Greenhouse cover films, which are strong and durable, are utilized to cover vegetables, roses, flowers, and fruits and protect them against external weather conditions, enabling growers to cultivate all year round, thanks to the use of co-extrusion technology during production.
The optical and mechanical properties of the customized polyethylene (PE) film are optimized to meet the requirements of the grown plants and the geographic location's microclimatic conditions.
To withstand UV sun exposure, the film's UV stabilization system is adequately formulated to last from 1 to 5 years, depending on the geographic location.
This cover is produced using cutting-edge technology for the raw materials and additives, effectively shielding crops from adverse external weather conditions like wind, rain, and hail while also promoting plant growth and harvest.
For crops that require a high level of light exposure but do not require increased plant height, a crystal-clear film with over 90% light transmission is used.
On the other hand, a diffused film with a light-scattering range of 35% to 65% is used to protect crops from intense sunlight, reduce shadow formation from plants, and prevent the phototropism effect.
Benefits
The optical properties in the PAR (Photosynthetic Active Radiation) wavelength range are optimized to encourage photosynthesis activity in plants.
Improving crop growth, harvest yields, and the organoleptic quality of produce is achieved.
By using open versions of this technology, natural pollination activity of insects, bees, and bumblebees is facilitated, leading to enhanced organoleptic quality of the produce.
Applications
Our greenhouse cover films are suitable for all applications, such as wooden or metallic structure, canarian system, small tunnels, high tunnels, multi spans, and double poly application.

Greenhouse Cover films are produced with state-of-the-art technology using advanced raw materials and additives. They shield crops from extreme temperatures that could harm the plants while maintaining an optimal environment that promotes biological plant growth within acceptable temperature ranges.
The Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA) co-polymer film blocks Infra-Red (IR) radiation, with a higher effect on the FAR IR radiation reflected by the soil during the night to preserve it inside the greenhouse, protecting the plants from frost temperatures.
The IR additive film blocks IR sun radiation, with a higher effect on the NIR IR radiation coming from the sun during the day, keeping it outside the greenhouse and shielding the plants from high-energy radiation that could convert into high temperature, affecting plant growth. A blend of both EVA and IR films provides a balanced formulation that combines the two features highlighted above, making them ideal for moderate geographic zones.
Benefits
The crystal thermal film is recommended for locations with low sun exposure and plants that require direct sunlight exposure, while the diffused thermal film, with a range of 35% to 65%, is recommended for locations with high sun exposure and plants requiring diffused light.
Temperature fluctuations between day and night are minimized, helping to maintain the optimal temperature range for biological plant growth.
Balanced heat distribution is maintained, leading to a reduction in greenhouse heating costs.
Photosynthesis activity in plants is promoted by optimizing light transmission in the Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) wavelength range.
Accelerated crop growth, improved harvest yields, and enhanced organoleptic produce quality are achieved.
The technology provides earlier harvesting and higher yields compared to standard PE film covers.
The open UV version of this technology facilitates natural pollination activity by insects, bees, and bumblebees, leading to enhanced organoleptic produce quality.
All thermal film versions can be provided with an antifog additive.
