Low Melt EVA Bags / tubes
Ethylene-vinyl acetate (also known as EVA) is the copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate. The weight percent of vinyl acetate usually varies from 6 to 28%, with the remainder being ethylene. It is a polymer that approaches elastomeric materials in softness and flexibility, yet can be processed like other thermoplastics.
The material has good clarity and gloss, low-temperature toughness, stress-crack resistance, hot-melt adhesive waterproof properties, and resistance to UV radiation.
These films are co-extruded on specialized dedicated lines to process EVA. Unlike usual materials our formulated EVA films / bags are highly compatible with rubber and mixes.
Benefits:
Improves quality and batch to batch uniformity
- Ensures 100% of compound ingredients go into the mixer
- Eliminates the risk of cross-contamination due to chemical residue in tubs and weighing containers
Increases productivity
- Eliminates the need to weigh ingredients in critical production path through the use of pre-weighed additives
- Eliminates the need to clean out tubs and weighing containers
Reduces product loss due to spillage and minimises the accumulation of costly additives in the dust collectors
Reduces solid waste disposal costs
Improves cleanliness of the mixing area
Minimises worker exposure to hazardous materials
EVA wrapping films are used to package items such as hot melt adhesives, rubber etc.
The properties of the bag such as melting point, viact softening point etc. can be modified based on the material being packed.
